Privacy policy

This policy summarises how personal data is handled across CoachConnect and CoachDock. Subprocessors, retention periods, and full legal review are still pending before wider public launch.

Who is the controller

SVE Ventures Ltd trading as CoachConnect, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16822306, is the data controller for personal data processed through CoachConnect and CoachDock. Contact us at hello@usecoachconnect.com.

Support requests

We record the contact details and message you submit in an email outbox so the team can respond. This browser stores only a private recovery reference, not your message text. The reference can check recording and provider acceptance for seven days; it does not confirm inbox delivery or resolution. Support-record retention and mailbox/backup deletion procedures still require approval before wider launch.

Data we collect

We may collect account details, provider and club profiles, event details, registration requests, enquiries, shortlist activity, workspace membership, client roster information, check-ins, progress entries, messages, files, session data, billing events, support requests, device data, and usage logs.

How data is used

We use data to provide marketplace and event discovery, route registration requests and enquiries to organisers, operate private CoachDock workspaces, authenticate users, prevent abuse, process payments, deliver notifications, provide support, improve product quality, and comply with legal obligations.

CoachDock client data

Client data inside CoachDock belongs to the relevant workspace controller. CoachDock acts as a software provider/processor for workspace client records unless a separate agreement says otherwise. Workspace owners must have a lawful basis and client consent where required.

Sharing

We share data with service providers needed to run the platform, such as hosting, database, storage, payment processing, email delivery, analytics/security tooling, and customer support tools. We do not sell personal data.

Analytics

We use PostHog (PostHog Inc., EU Cloud, hosted in Frankfurt) for aggregate site and product analytics on usecoachconnect.com and the CoachDock dashboard: page views, clicks on public pages, and counts of sign-ups, enquiries, checkouts and subscriptions. It runs cookieless, so no analytics cookie or device identifier is stored in your browser; IP addresses are anonymised; session recording is off; and nothing is sent when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Admin pages are never measured, and emails, names, messages and payment details are never sent to PostHog.

Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the service, legal, security, accounting, dispute, and backup reasons. Workspace owners should delete or export client records when they are no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data. Requests should be sent to hello@usecoachconnect.com.

Security

We use role-based access, workspace scoping, encrypted transport, private media access controls, audit logging where practical, and service-provider security controls. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK or EEA. Appropriate transfer safeguards should be documented before launch.
